The Contents pane is where you define what HTML documents will be created from the PageMaker publication you have made. Click New to have HTML Author assist you in the process of setting up your HTML documents. The main level of the Contents pane is where you create and manage all of the HTML documents you are making from your PageMaker publication. It shows you at a glance which HTML documents you have already defined in the Document Title list box. Clicking on one of these titles reveals the corresponding document contents in the Contents list box. The main level is also where you export parts of your PageMaker publication to HTML.
When you are ready to export one or more HTML documents, simply highlight their titles in the Document Title list box and click Export HTML. You can select multiple documents by pressing the shift key as you click each sequential document title, or you may select discontinuous documents by pressing the Command key and clicking on the document titles you wish to select.
Tip: After defining HTML documents, you can view the PageMaker pages or stories from which they are composed without leaving the HTML Author dialog box. Click a document, then select a page or story from the Contents list. The View button will now take you to your chosen page or story on the PageMaker publication behind.
